Kennedy, this is hilarious! I didn't realize Santa had such a good sense of humor. :)

I don't let myself listen to holiday music until after Thanksgiving, so I'd love to hear a funny story to hold me over until then. :)

It does seem like there would be something like that behind one of those doors but It was crazy what she found in the end. I won't tell you and spoil it because I want you to read that."
Thanks for not including any spoilers, Emilio! I was very surprised by what she found behind the door and then even more surprised by what it meant at the end of the book. I did not see the ending coming until right at the last moment, which I think is what makes a mystery so great!

I think I was expecting an abandoned haunted house or the behind-the-scenes side of an old ride that used to be at Stagecoach Pass. Since there were so many DO NOT ENTER signs, it seemed like something the amusement park would put up for safety.

Everybody thinks I have a boy's name. I mean, in the standard..."
Oh my goodness, Kennedy. I completely understand where you're coming from!
People always think I'm a boy if they just see my name. And I once got placed in the boys' group instead of the girls' group for a school function and had to spend the entire time with all the boys.
I personally adore your name, and I associate it more with girls than boys!

I just started reading Chasing Space, and I'm already hooked! I can't wait to get to the parts that you described, Arnav.

It’s about two boys who go to the same school but are very different from one another. Ravi just moved to the U.S. from India, and Joe has to go to the resource room at the school for extra help. The chapters switch back and forth between their perspectives. I really enjoyed Ravi’s chapters because I got to learn a lot about Indian culture and especially cooking, which is some of my favorite food to eat!
I would definitely recommend it.

Some of my favorite words from Nevermoor include:
Magnificat
gossamer
arachnipod
Deucalion
Eventide
I can't wait to hear what the rest of you thought of Nevermoor!

You can share your own favorite words by downloading the template from the Bee Blog and using #mylistwords in your posts to Twitter and Instagram. We'll share some of our favorite List words from the Bee's accounts!

scavenger
guttural
turbulent
incessant
glowered
jittering
wordless
hewn
One thing that I found really interesting about List in the book was the lack of "please" and "thank you," which seem like staples in everyday conversation. So I'd probably have to add them to mine!

I really love this theory, and I think it would add a fun, even deeper layer to the connection between Heidi Schulz's Neverland adventures and the original story by J.M. Barrie. Maybe we'll find out for sure in the sequel!

"I..."
Anytime I need a little adventure I find myself rereading J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Merry, Pippin, and I have had many an adventure since I was a kid!

2. I'm from Northwest Indiana.
3. I have so many favorite books including Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, and I'm currently in the middle of the Throne of Glass serie..."
Hi, Julia. Thanks for joining the Bee's Bookshelf! I just recently finished Six of Crows, and I absolutely loved it. Have you read Crooked Kingdom yet?

Hi, Sydney. Welcome to the group! I'm a big fan of the Harry Potter books, too, but I have to admit that I never finished the Chronicles of Narnia. I should probably add them to my always-growing list. Which one is your favorite?

1. My name is Tyler H.
2. I also live in Ohio (but I'm originally from Georgia).
3. I have too many favorites to count, but I love everything that Libba Bray writes from The Diviners to the Gemma Doyle books.
4. I have a ginger cat named Zoey, who is an absolute menace (but a lovable menace).
