Yay!!! I'm so excited!! Thank you for hosting this, Sarah Grace! I've never done a challenge like this, and it was a ton of fun. I enjoyed chatting with everyone here! AND looking up some books that I wouldn't have read otherwise!
I just entered! I saw that you had posted here a few days ago, but I wasn't able to use my laptop at the time, and then forgot XP.
@Sarah Grace Congratulations!!! Isn't being an auntie just the BEST?!?! On the review thingy, that's what I was kind of thinking, but it's always nice to have some confirmation 🙃
Question: when y'all read novella collections, do you review each novella separately, under its individual posting as a novella, or together, under the posting of the collection? I hope this makes sense. Because I feel like posting reviews under them individually might look like I'm inflating my book count, but I would prefer to distinguish them that way and rate them separately. AND you CAN read them separately as e-books. BUT. You know?
Awww, thanks, y'all!! I'm really glad I did this---I read books that I really enjoyed, and either wouldn't have picked up, or wouldn't have made time to read. So fun! And Beth, the third Anne is one of my favorites!!!

Same! I love Alan Menken (so I like Disney instrumental....XD). And I enjoy the soundtracks to the Nancy Drew games, mostly by Kevin Manthei. Kind of a weird mix. I need more exposure, obviously. Which begs the question, who are some of your favorite modern composers?
I listen to it while I'm doing school also! But here lately, the technical jargon has been too much to process without complete silence. I don't think I've ever heard of Grieg! I enjoy the other ones you mentioned as well.
Anyone listen to classical music? I'm not a faithful listener, but I was the other day, and rediscovered my passion for Bach, Chopin, and Corelli. Favorite composers, anyone?
I'm working on the last two categories! I almost felt like it was cheating, but I wound of choosing two Dear America books for the 16 and 1700s. I was having a hard time finding material on my way out of town for those, as I couldn't make myself finish the two books that I had chosen before, and these were easier to find. HOWEVER, I chose a sequel to one that I had LOVED when I was younger, and Cannons at Dawn is actually quite the detailed read. I was surprised. And I chose I Walk In Dread to replace the other House of Winslow, as the Salem Witch Trials was the piece that I most looked forward to out of those books.
Last year we had to switch from Windows desktops to MacBooks. I couldn't stand them at first, but after a little while, I got used to it, and love what it can do for me at work. I still am a hardcore Windows user at home, however 😁
Finally on the "year genres"! I'm going to start with The Lost Heiress...oddly enough, I've read books 2 & 3, but not book 1. I received book 2 as a gift, and preferred to read 3 after that rather than 2-1-3. But then the mystery was solved, and I didn't really want to pick up book 1 straight after that. I've seen the reviews of it, and have really been wanting to pick it up of late. Now, I can!
Studying, and cat-sitting! I have no idea what we'll do on the actual 4th, though usually the church family meets up at the gym to just have fun.
