@Vinity, yup, I just got passed the "back back and back to the future" episode you mentioned. For the first 2 episodes, I was wondering why the setting was so dark. Now it's getting interesting!

He explained that back in the days some of these shows had a small budget so they had to film it, then digitalize it and add special effects on after. Then they got rid of the film.
The only reason they were able to make Star Trek Next Generation high def was because they still had the original film. They converted film to high def then redo all the special effects.
Oh wait, hubby said Google Play has a high def version. Don't know how but they are the only one with high def.

And how do I refresh it to see more recent post?
Any tips would be appreciated!

I've seen Stargate SG1, Battle Star Galatica, Star Track Next Generation, and Firefly.
Seems like there's a gap in my sci-fi tv shows. I gotta go and track it down now. Thanks for the recommendation!

I been on a sci-fi kick lately. I read the whole Mandrake Company series, the Star Guardians series by Ruby Lionsdrake, and the Class 5 series by Michelle Diener.
Do you have any recommendations for other similar sci-fi series?

Thanks for the invite, Doug! I usually lurk over in the Amazon Forum. I think this group is a great idea. This is where I track the books I read. Sometimes I remember to mark the book I am reading. Other times, I come here to add the book I just read and rate it. My fav feature of Goodreads is that you see the books you friends are reading.
