I really enjoy:
Dennis Lehane, pretty much all of his are mystery
Charlie Parker series by John Connolly
Clockers and Good Samaritan by Richard Price
any Charlie Huston
Guilty pleasure- I thought Da Vinci Code was brilliant
I want to check out Michael Connelly and Ted Dekker

Amazon is great for used books so is almost any used book store, goodwill and library used book store. I only buy new if it's a book I can't wait to read. New books are super expensive compared to used!!

I lend out books assuming i'll never get them back so am never upset. I really like the person getting the book and can either live without it or I have a second copy.I like lending, the idea of someone else enjoying the book as much as me is cool!

I have shelves throughout my house, many shelves, devoted to 6 categories(Pop Fiction, Classic ,Music/Film related, Non-fiction/sociology, Self-Help/Health, to be read). I've found I can fit every book into one of these genres the only problem I have is between Classic and Fiction. What makes something Classic? I don't alphabetize, more into the color and aesthetic organizing.

Bruce Campbell signed my Evil Dead book "stay groovy",the guy behind me had him sign his chainsaw!
I have about 10 autographed books, i like to make sure they personalize it with my name or girlfriend's, if they will, it's cooler that way. Most of the authors i have signed it with either "Enjoy," or "All my/the best"
