Sandy, a bit. When she first arrives on the ferry, she makes a friend who basically tells her all the gossip about the place she's going to work. Then when she runs away from the island, she stows away on the same ferry. Before that, when she was a child, her uncle brings her from Iceland on a boat. She stays up on the boat waiting for her father to surface (he died at sea), so it's pretty traumatic for her when she has to leave the boat. I think that's it - if it doesn't work I'll find another book. :)
21757 Katy, would this work? Maine: The Seasons. Essays and pictures of Maine.
21757 Katy, would a photography book in general work for this? All my vacations are spent hunting for the perfect photo.

21757 Sandy, would The Flight of Gemma Hardy work for this? There's quite a lot of back and forth on ferries and boats, but none of it is in the description...
21757 Christine US wrote: "For #3 does it have to be a car, or would a truck work?"

Christine, it needs to be a car. Sorry!

Thanks!"

Erin, yes it would!
21757 Donna Jo wrote: "I just finished Singing the Dogstar Blues for another task, but it would work for option 1, as it heavily features an alien.
It would also work for YA options or 15.3 Option 1.
I am using it for 1..."

Donna Jo, yes it would! It sounds very interesting... :) I'll add it up in the first post as well...
21757 Cindy wrote: "Would Packing for Mars The Curious Science of Life in the Void by Mary Roach work for option 1 Space?"

Yes, it would!
21757 Kathy G. wrote: "Would this work for option 2- Disaster

The Eleventh Plague

Thanks"

Yes Kathy, based on the description that would work!
21757 Keltie Lee wrote: "Great task!

I just wanted to check that a NHL hockey player as a main character would work for option 3."

If there is a hockey game as part of the plot, then yes - that would work.
21757 Ms Anderson wrote: "Yay video game junkies! *displays badge proudly* I like this task :D

Anyway, if anyone is looking for an amazing book that'd work for B (surviving a plane crash), Beauty Queens is absolutely wonde..."

Thanks Ms Anderson! I've added Beauty Queens in the approved post above. :)
21757 Yaay! I found a task to fit The Right-Hand Shore: A Novel! (#2C). Thanks Stacie!
21757 Dee wrote: "soo many choices!! lol!!"

Lol Dee! I had more options per game when I started making the task. These video game universes are too vast lol.
21757 Bea wrote: "It looks to me like The Liberated Bride would work for option 4. Correct?"
