215640 I read almost all the time. I have books everywhere; at my locker at work, school, and I even have a couple underneath my pillow.
I usually like to read at night. I'll lay by the window and read using the light from the moon.
I usually get teased about reading, but I don't really care. I used to get in trouble all the time in school because I'd read during class.
I think people love to read because the idea of escape into another world is thrilling when we're faced with our own mortal dilemma's.

215640 That's an interesting choice. The Greeks used it to explain the seasons, but couldn't restrain themselves from making it sad.
I don't know who had it worse; Demeter or Persephone.

215640 I particularly love the Trojan war, and the tale of Narcissus. What about you two, Aly and Celestia?

215640 Hey, this is my first post ever on a group.
My name is Sabrina Iannone, self-published author at seventeen. I'm almost done with high school (spooky) and I love books.
I mean, I think you'd have to to write one.
I love The Odyssey by Homer. The Greek tales have always resonated with me. The Blameless Prince is a poem by Edmund Clarence Stedman, who no one knows about. I also love that poem.
And finally, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is one of my favourite books. I've read it numerous times in the past month, intrigued by Dorian's corrupt idealogy.
I probably wrote too much, but I'm excited to be here; nice to meet all of you guys! :)
