215640 Could I get a copy at checke@dearbornschools.org mobi please thanks always looking for good YA
215640 Thank you I will definitely check those out they look interesting.
215640 I love historical fiction I am middle age so I read pretty much anything because I work with children.
215640 An easy theme to choose is bullying where any character has an unpleasant experience with a bully which happens in most books. This theme gives you tons of options to read. Everyone can pick a book than review it when they are done so others can decide to read it or not.

215640 I really enjoyed this book. I could feel this families frustrations all the way through. Living in michigan and being a Special Education teacher I have not run into this issue. I have also seen where parents that have children that do not have special needs but are struggling have been brought up over and over again. I believe Magda should have qualified for services and received more help than just speech. Where I work we have a first rate special education team and we discuss students all the time that may need more help. Unfortunately public schools are broken and need to be revamped to meet the needs of all students, I think there are some educators that are trying to change the process as we speak. I am sorry you had such a terrible experience and I hope I have never caused a family so much pain.

215640 I would be happy to review it but being a teacher not sure how it will sit with me. I guess it is good to know how the teaching community will feel about it.

215640 My name is Enid Check and I am a special education teacher which is a very rewarding job. I have always loved reading and I am in two book clubs one for couples and another just a bunch of women in my neighborhood.
I am currently reading two books The House On Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros a recommendation from my daughter.
The other is In the Midst of Winter by Isabel Allende which I am reading for my women's book club.
