I did go see Kidnap and it does remind of the "Taken" movies a little. But I loved those movies and I do really like Halle Berry. Has anyone else been to the movies lately?

I loved the Dark Tower movie and I can't wait to see what they do with the next one. I have not read the books so I can't compare the book with the movie but I must say I enjoyed the movie!
I'm just going to throw this question out there....Since we will be reading this book we select through October, do we want to read something like a thriller or a like more on the scary/Halloween side? What do everyone think?
