I too like that she waited. I wouldn't want to try the Happiness Machine.I am almost finished with the book. Mrs. Bentley's story sticks out for me so far.

I finished this today. I enjoyed it. Elsa talking to halfie made me tear up. I also enjoyed her views on quality literature.
I just did some research and the Britt Marie that lives in Elsa's building is the same one as in Britt-Marie Was Here. I have just added another book to my TBR pile.
