Liam’s comments from the The Wizarding World - an Extension group.

The Gryffindor Girls' Dormitory is located inside the Gryffindor Tower, and is where the female Gryffindor students go to sleep at night. Every dorm room is equipped with a centrally-located stove, and each student gets their own bed, flanked by a set of windows and space for storing personal belongings. Because the Hogwarts founders believed that boys were less trustworthy than girls, the staircase that leads up to the girls' dormitory turns to a slide, if a boy tries to enter.

The Gryffindor Boys' Dormitory is located inside the Gryffindor Tower, and is where the male Gryffindor students go to sleep at night. Every dorm room is equipped with a centrally-located stove, and each student gets their own bed, flanked by a set of windows and space for storing personal belongings.

The Gryffindor Common Room is located in the Gryffindor Tower and is found behind the portrait of the Fat Lady. The common room is a circular room where Gryffindor students can relax after a long day of studying. It is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace dominates one wall. The walls are decorated with scarlet tapestries that depict witches and wizards, but also various animals.

In here you can tell us when you're away or if your character is arranging some fun event that you want to share with other people! You can share almost anything though remember that advertising for other groups is still against the rules and will of course not happen in here or anywhere else! :). It's allowed to react to the announcements but try and keep it on only 1 reaction per announcement so the topic won't get flooded <3

It would be appreciated if you guys deleted your posts when they're no longer relevant so the topic won't swim in old announcements :)
