I'm late with the snakes stories but
( quick story )
my high school used to require freshmen to go to this thing called Outward Bound. worst shit ever; we were basically forced to hike for miles each day and shit was pretty pointless. and we all stank. my entire group hated each other from like day 1, expect I bounded with my best friend over her Arabian Nights and my apparently excellent pronunciation of what I knew from SHINee and Girl's Generation songs.

the like third or fourth night we get to a clearing ( but our asses still had to sleep in a grasshopper infested section of the woods for some reason )
best friend and I gotta go get water from the stream not that far off
best friend goes "oh my god don't put your foot"
big ass motherfuckin snake has just slithered under my boot and I was 2.5 seconds away from getting bit
one of the team leaders identified the snake from what we told them
it was poisonous
I was officially done with that trip
