For March I'm thinking of reading What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions, as recommended by Felicia Day here on goodreads (I like how I just found it by chance, became interested, then saw the rec). But reading the ideas in this thread I'm also pretty interested now in The Blind Assassin so we'll see!!
Hello, I just joined the challenge and I decided to read The Science of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials for this month since I just bought this book and I've been dying to figure out the science behind this amazing fantastic series for a while now (or, actually, since I read it as an 11 year old). It's good it fits with the month's theme, since I was planning to read it anyway. I'm really into science books right now so I might try to fit in The Universe in a Nutshell which my father just lent me, but that might be too intense for the end of the month (especially since I still have to catch up with the January book) so instead I'm might go with Seven Brief Lessons on Physics, which was a lovely suggestion I found here, or 50 Physics Ideas You Really Need to Know, which I was already planning on reading later on (but then this is also a book by a woman author I just found out about, so maybe I should leave it be till July? haha), that is, if I can get my hands on those on time!
