Totally agree. His unique way of explaining thing is what gives me most pleasure. What other book of Michio Kaku's would you recommend ?

Yes, Great Movie. Must watch for every Astronomy Enthusiasts, And thanks Veronika, You story too , Good one
It All started when I was 14 years old. I don't know I how many of you have seen the Movie Contact I have a similar story.I was wondering about the brightest thing in the sky. And went on a little research on it And realized it was Venus, And that got me, We can never expect anything to be right unless we actually know it is, This simple truth got me into Astronomy And it keeps my mind occupied at all times. And i get this strange feeling when i stare at the sky that says we are connected somehow , And if we date back to the evolution , It turns out true
i didnt know this too but after some research i am now aware that there is abundance of these elements and deuterium (not very abundant) because of this very process . I wonder how many processes are still mysteriously hidden out there just waiting to be discovered by us tiny beings damm this place is full of mystery
hi guys i am done with 1st chapter Space time and relativity,I have read many books about space time but after reading this book i feel this should have been my first book about space time, its just put forward in a elegant way. Amazing Anyone else guys?
If you are talking about the scene when they pass into the Wormhole and reach a black hole system ? than Yes Thats is what Mt Thorne is talking about . As said in the book that ring is formed when particles are very strongly attracted to due to the gravity of Black hole and are moving so fast that they bombard into each other producing heat and eventually light of all frequencies this creates a ring like structure around it
I am done with the intro Damm Thats what you call a introduction amazingly written . I have many doubts but Mr Thorne has written that it will be clarified in the further chapters so no worries . Where are you all at ?
Yup . This book does have a lot to discuss and thanks to the group i can try to understand every line . Anybody started?
