I've reread them and I was surprised by how much I forgot and how much is left out of the movies. My niece and nephew just finished them and enjoyed them.

50x66 If you are looking for a good medical mystery, I recommend Trigger by Jessica L. Webb. Why is Dr. Kate Morrison able to touch people who have been turned into explosives? It was a good story of rescuing the people and figuring out why she could touch them and not explode.

If you like cozy mystery stories, I recommend Kylie Logan's League of Literary Ladies. Each book is an homage to a classic story and author. They are fun!

I enjoyed the Harry Potter series. I am amazed when I reread them how much I have forgotten. Great series!

I found them on a list of national days. I'm thinking some areas of the US may celebrate them but who knows. I do know every so often there is a day that pops up on the news or Facebook that says this is National Whatever Day! I found it interesting that so many days in June were for beverages. I signed up for their monthly newsletter to see what days I may be missing out on celebrating.

I enjoyed the Twilight series but I preferred her THE HOST. I thought it was better written. I also loved THE HELP.

I enjoyed this book. You are definitely right that it helps to have read the original. It makes reading this version more fun.
