There is a really interesting scene in this book where the characters who support the Revolution encounter other revolutionary fighters from the 'backwoods' who mistake them for Royalists. I don't know if I am explaining it well, but It has stayed with me over time- the same scene could play out today.
I have this book to loan if anyone wants it! For middle grades through high school I think.
