She sighed "Way to get my hopes up" she raised a hand "I'll pass actually, but I sure Alex would love to join you"

Ellie paused and raised an eyebrow. "Crush?" She grinned "Who is it?"

Ellie raised her hand. "I can take them"

Ellie couldn't help but roll her eyes, amused. "Sounds like you're better" she remarked.

Ellie shrugged. "I don't really swim either, more of a relaxing kind of person" She waved to Victor. "S'up Victor"

Ellie smiled. "Hi" she said "Benny not with you?" She questioned. She turned, hearing someone walk down to the area. "Hey Alex" she greeted. She glanced between both of them. "You guys both here to swim?" She shifted to face them, and offered a half smile.

Ellie sat at the waters edge, her feet dipping into the lake. It was a perfect day, just warm enough for the cool water. No one else had come to the lake that day, so she had it all to herself. She exhaled and closed her eyes, relaxed. She could faintly hear talking from camp and the occasional chirp of a bird, but besides that, it was quiet. After a few minutes, she opened her eyes and stood, stretching her legs. She walked around the edge of the lake, admiring the water. She paused, standing right by the dock. She heard some rustling from the bushes and turned around.
