Christine tried to copy her, but Christine's arrow hit the outside edge of the target.
((Sorry I was super busy!))

Percy is definitely hufflepuff lol.
Also sorry for the inactivity lately but I probs won't be super active for the next week or two either.

"Ready!" agreed Christine.
((lol it's cool i haven't been on much lately))

"Okay!" Christine agreed, making sure to pick a bow that worked with her small frame. She found one similar to the bow she had used that first time here with Sam.

((Ok you post first?))

"Okay," agreed Christine. "I've already tried once but I need all the practice I can get."

"I don't know, are there any you think I need to know?" Christine asked.

"Really? Awesome!" Christine exclaimed. "This is kind of fun, actually!"
((lol I took even longer so sorry about that))

"Yeah," agreed Christine with a laugh. She took the dagger from Ellie. "Thanks." She continued practicing as if she had never stopped, but even more ferociously than she had before.

"Like this?" Christine asked, using the other grip Ellie had shown her. The knife slipped out of her hands and almost hit her foot, but she dodged it last minute. Christine laughed awkwardly. "Sorry I'm a bit accident prone."

Christine tried to do what Ellie had shown her, sinking the knives into the dummy viciously, especially for a girl of her size and temperament. This was kind of exhilarating.

"Oh," said Christine, embarrassed. She then copied Ellie's lead, slashing in arcs this time.

"Okay," Christine said, mimicking her. "I like the first option better." She tried to use them on the air in front of her, obviously not clear on how they are supposed to be used.

Christine smiled and took the daggers. "Okay, how on earth do you use these?" she asked.

"I dunno, maybe practice with like a dagger or something?" Christine suggested. "Unless you're tired of helping me and that would be totally fine."

"Thanks," said Christine, her face growing hot. She wasn't used to praise since she tended to mess a lot and people had let her know it. So far at camp everyone had been so nice! Well, mostly. That fight hadn't been her definition of "nice." "You're a good teacher," replied Christine.
((Sorry that took so long...))

"Thanks!" Christine exclaimed, gaining confidence as she continued to swing. Gradually her swings got less stiff and awkward and more relaxed and graceful. Christine kind of liked using a sword.

Upon realizing that Ellie could block her and wasn't entirely defenseless (duh!), Christine swung harder and faster.

"Okay," said Christine, still nervous. She swung the sword stiffly towards Ellie, not trying very hard because she didn't want to hurt Ellie.

"Wait, what if I hit you?" asked Christine nervously, standing there holding her sword awkwardly as she was not used to it.
