First off I want to say that this book is a reread for me. I love the book starts off immediately with action even though it isn't really good action. I love the chapters are alternating between now and then. It helps us learn a little bit of background info while keeping an air of mystery. I'm finding both sections now and equally interesting. To me Gus and James' relationship seems a bit shaky. That's all I'm gonna write here because as I said it's a re-read and I'm remembering pretty much the whole story right now so I don't want to give anything from parts two and three away.

Yea he is definitely not my cup of tea

Wow guys this discussion is looking great! Kat the beginning does have so much going on!! Enjoy it

I wish life were so easy... it's even hard in books lol

Yes! Cam just pissed me off so much throughout the whole book!

I thought so too! Allie was just doing way too much!!

I agree their relationship started so purely and sweetly!

I thought Maggie and Jamie's neighbors were so sweet when they were on the stand trying to defend the love Jamie had for Maggie. I loved the stories the told about them. I thought the ending was great! Loved this book!!

My heart broke for Allie when she saw the pictures of Cam and Mia are together. i was shocked when Allie told Cam she didn't want a divorce. Cam's letters in between chapters frustrated me to no end. I'm still torn on Allie and Cam's relationship.

I hate that Mia came back. I can't wait to find out why Cam actually hired Graham. I feel really bad for Allie. It seems like their whole relationship is give-and-take. Allie gives so much and Cam just takes. It seems to me Allie will do anything to try to fix her marriage with him, but she doesn't realize that it's Cam's fault the relationship isn't working at the moment. Cam is so selfish! I hope Mia leaves for good this time.

I like that we are going to start getting into the trial soon. I love the Cam is getting smart and ending things with Mia, at least for now. So far I really like Graham's character. It seems he wants to prove himself and I like that. i was happy when Mia left but completely mortified when Cam hired a private investigator. I'm really hating Cam and all his lies to Allie so much!

I was appalled at Cam when he kissed Mia. I feel bad that Allie is "the one that loves more". It was even obvious in the earlier chapters that her feelings were deeper than cam's. I really want to know who Mia is. I don't like the way I see the relationship between Cam and Mia playing out.

Ok first off how odd about Mia showing up at the same time as the so called "murderer". I feel like we are going to learn a lot about flowers and bonsai plants. I also think it's odd about the ex girlfriend coming to town at the same time all of this is going on. I think there is a lot going on and this will be a fast paced read.

I don't know how else she thought will would react to the news that she was leaving with Alex. I do like the way the book ended, I feel like that was the only way she would finally get away from Alex.
Line that stood out: But even the angriest marks fade over time, until it was difficult to see them written on the skin at all, and the only thing that remained was your memory of how painful it had been.

I got upset when Cassie called alex to congratulate him. I found myself getting bored with the stories Cyrus was telling Cassie. The whole scene with the ceremony where will was dancing was quite disturbing, until you found out why. I left that she named the baby after Connor.
