I found this great resource for writing a book proposal. It clearly states what book proposals can get you, and what to include when writing one. The template that comes with it is great for staying on track! You can find it here.
Is anyone here thinking of writing/submitting a book proposal?

I came across this directory of writing exercises and thought I’d share them here! I found most of them very original, and a great help when staring at a blank piece of paper. I especially like the one called 'Clue Hunt'. Browse the writing exercises here (there's over 100 to choose from).
Hope you find them useful too!

Hi Theodore,
Thank you for your words of caution. I'll definitely keep this in mind and carefully consider which magazines I submit to in the future. I might hold off for a while, or at least not get my expectations up too high.
I appreciate it!
Hi guys! Are you looking to submit your writing to a literary magazine? I've always thought that this seemed like a great way to get my writing in print, especially as I'm just starting out as a writer.
This directory of lit magazines (over 100 of them) lets you filter by category/genre and online/print publications. If you're interested in getting your writing published in a literary magazine I hope this can come of use to you too!

I found this searchable list of short story writing prompts, and it’s been a great help for when I can’t think of what to write about! I especially love the weird and quirky ones that I’d never be able to come up with myself.
I hope you can have some use of these prompts too. Let me know if you end up using any of them to spark your creativity!
Check out the list here!
