I have a lot to say, to write about, but much of it is based on injustices or political or societal failures and I think not many people are interested in what I have to say, so I don't bother with it. Its all too serious. But, yes, I do think about silly stuff, like why are football uniforms always so clean...do they get new ones to wear every week? And then, I think, who would care about that but me?

Anya, I was hooked. Your first lines were intriguing enough to want to read more. Also agree with the others advice. Keep writing!

I don't know why, but I can't get inside the October issue. When I go to Indie Authors Monthly website the cover for the October issue is there, but when I click "Read Here" the September issue comes up? Anybody else having a problem?

Some of these stories are remarkable. It makes me realize, once again, how differently peoples brains work. So many different takes on the same photo. I want to vote for my own story, but feel a little weird about that. Still deciding which to choose.

Thanks for the info. I took a book to the post office to mail and when I heard the price, I realized I could but it at Amazon UK and pay retail and still have it be way cheaper. And as you said, we get the royalty and much easier, no hassle.

Anita, sorry if this is a stupid question, but when you order your own book, do you get a discounted price or pay retail?
