201765 I like #1 and #4, probably #4 slightly more, actually. The red denotes Mars to me, so makes more sense than the other shades. My one issue with #1 is it bugs me that the picture goes over the text, but that's just me being me.

201765 This is excellent :)

I had heard there was a trend amongst the TikTokers where it was like a challenge to get an ebook, read it, and return it for a full refund. Isn't it fun when lots of people encourage each other to do the wrong thing? *insert eyeroll here*

Ah well, at least something is now being done about it. A big thumbs up for Amazon :)

201765 Well, I'm not much use in helping with blurbs, but I will say this book sounds like a great read, however you summarise it :)
201765 This is a collection of YA novels (3 so far) set in and around an American high school called Austen High, and yes, you guessed it, each book is based on one of Jane Austen's novels :)

201765 Congrats, Dale, and best of luck for the next round! :)
201765 You could try Googling 'free dictation', Sam. Several possible options came up there. Just a thought :)

Thank you, Alex. This made me smile :)

201765 Well, I'm happy to report that I managed to complete a WIP this week! Unfortunately, it was nothing original for actual publishing, just fanfiction, but at least I achieved something in the way of writing, right? :)

201765 Anna, did you really have to put a Spice Girls song into my head like that? :P

Thanks, Dale. It's getting mostly untangled for now. The rest, I'll fix in the edits later on, because mostly I think I just need to power forward and get the rest of the story written down.

Alex wrote: I just can't get my brain to focus."

Ugh, I hate it when that happens, especially when you're so close to the end, but I think it's a fairly common writer's problem that gets us all sometimes. Hope you can manage to find your focus and get it done very soon, Alex :)

201765 Glad to hear you've been getting on well with your writing, Dale. I'll admit to having slacked off a bit in the last couple of weeks, but I am now trying to get back to my poor abandoned draft and figure out the muddle I've got into in the middle of it!

Meanwhile, I have at least been doing some final editing and formatting on something else, to get it ready for publishing in Oct/Nov. So, I've not been slumbering exactly, I just switched focus for a bit :)
201765 Ooh, colour me intrigued. Sounds very interesting :)

201765 All the best with it, Dale, and thank you for mentioning AuthorsXP - never heard of that one before, but may investigate further for use it in the future :)

201765 Looks great, Alex. I used to love the Famous Five as a child. I wish you the best of luck with it :)

201765 I must've seen the words 'Story Origin' around here the magic 7 times, because I finally got around to signing up about 2 weeks ago - excellent timing it seems, since I will qualify for the discount when they begin charging for their services soon! I have a feeling I probably have you to thank, Dale, so thank you very much :)

201765 Always nice to read about self-published authors supporting each other. How kind you both are, Anna and Carole :)

Sounds like you really need that rest, Anna! I'm sure it will do you the world of good. I shall also be giving myself a couple of days off for Easter :)
