201765 You may or may not be aware that the audiobook market is the fastest growing segment of the publishing industry and that audiobook listeners rarely read print or e-books.

Let me assure you, based on feedback from our authors, it is an exhilarating experience hearing your work performed by a talented voice artist for the first time. Just as importantly, it is extremely rewarding knowing that you are communicating your message to auditory learners in their preferred medium.

If you are interested in exploring this opportunity further, please send an email directly to publisher [at] wordozze [dot] com.

We are also accepting submissions for publication of ebooks and paperbacks in most genres (no poetry).

201765 Strangely, that book was not only educational but highly entertaining. I never thought I would laugh while reading a book about grammar.

201765 Hi Kay,

In the context of writing and publishing, Sheri Orloff would be a better fit under the Formatting category.

(Editing, formatting, cover design, audiobook production)

Thank you!

201765 I think that part of the reason might be that our minds automatically fill in words that should be there but aren't. Add that to reading the same thing more than once and the eye-blink rate goes down significantly.

Dale, get that tee shirt today. What a great idea!

201765 Chrys,

The only absolute is the legal right to produce the audiobook. If you are self-published, that clearly is not a problem. Beyond that, just the book in Word or rtf is needed. We take it from there!

201765 CeDany,

If you choose to work with us, you don't need to do the narration. If you are a narrator and you want to voice your own book, then yes, it will need to wait awhile. :-)
201765 Yes, editing is important. For those people who know better, it reduces distractions and improves flow. Having said that, even books published by well-respected traditional companies have errors in them. Do your best.
