Yes, I did receive it.

I love fiction, and short fiction, regardless of genre. I do have genres that are my favorites of course, but that doesn't mean I don't read outside of them.
Also I review everything for my blog. I have the main theme of fantasy, sci-fi, dark fantasy, and horror running through it. I review a lot of different stuff on it though.
I go by a saying of "Fiction is always someone's fantasy."
That horror collection does look like something up my alley though. I will definitely check that out. Thank you for pointing me in that direction. Always enjoy being introduced to a new book I haven't heard of!
I do have a dropbox account. never sent, or received, files through dropbox. Do I have to do anything?

I love to read and review short fiction. I run a website for reviews, but short fiction in particular, at www.afantasymuse.com.

If you have any collections that need to be reviewed, or just a single story, I'd love to give it a review.
Thanks,

Ok, so it sounds like what I've been assuming is the typical practice for most authors, is ok to assume. I assume they will send me a free e-copy of the book. I never expect them to send me a physical book.

I never expect them to send me a physical book.I just needed to make sure I wasn't going crazy. I had a fairly rude response to someone I told I would review his book for him, and told him the type of reading device I used. He seems offended that I expected a free e-copy.
Have a question. I just ran into this issue.
Have a question. I just ran into this issue.I have always been given "free" copies to review for authors that approach me for reviews. Is it safe to assume that when an author approaches you for a review that they will also provide the book for you to review?
Or after being approached am I to assume that I should buy the book that they are asking me to review?
I felt like I offended an author by assuming he would send the book he was asking me to review. Just trying to figure out from an authors standpoint what the correct protocol is.
I have a blog, http://www.afantasymuse.com and put my reviews on Goodreads/Amazon.
