As for SIA, yeah, I'm a little too afraid to post stuff. I love a lot of the peeps there, but still...
But this group rocks so I'm a happy lady.
Hope people have been seeing some action from this promotion. If not, there is always next time. The first promotion I ever did, I "sold" so many free books that I thought every promotion was going to be like that. Boy, was I ever wrong.. ha! Just keep your head up and keep going! It's all we can do as indies.

I think this event is a success! And I thank you mods for everything you've done! Seriously!
Oh, and thanks for dropping an F-bomb. This group was getting a bit too real ; )

I think we've all been doing a really awesome job at tweeting and retweeting and retweeting the retweets. Yeah, I don't even know what I just said, but it sounded good.
Anyway, I hope people have been getting some sales! I'll go on a rampage soon, once I get dinner done and the kiddos off to bed. I did put out a tweet on AskDavid, so hopefully that does something.
I've had a ton of read pages today on my KU and a sale or two, so many thanks! Tonight, I also plan to go through and buy what I can get away with.

I just put out another tweet with some different hashtags. I too like to mix them up a lot. It's sort of fun to see where I'll get retweets from. People from this group have been awesome about the RTs. Let's keep it up! Remember, it's early on the West Coast. Sales will pick up!

I hear what you're saying Amy about being in more than one category. I write contemporary romance, but I also push it as women's lit. That said, I didn't put my books into that category for this promotion because... well... there are a lot of swears and a decent amount of adult content in my books. All that aside, sometimes I think it's good to push the boundaries of your genre - which it seems like you're doing ; )

As for sales, yeah, they can be super depressing. To be honest, I don't check them every day. I'd be totally bummed if I did. I agree that exposure is the name of the game.

Alex, keep the faith. I did a promo with bargainbooksy recently and did pretty well. I'm sure you will too!

Thanks Eva! I have to say, I love doing this promotion with all of you! It's been a lot of fun, sales or no sales.

I had 6 sales yesterday, but I might have been riding the wave of a promotion I did the day before.
I'll start promoting once the sun comes up a little more. Good luck today everyone!

It's also only the first day. We've got lots more promoting to be done. I've bene promoting on Facebook, Twitter and on my blog and will do more tomorrow as well.

@Alex don't get discouraged. It's really early in the promotion! In previous promotions I've done, I don't usually start to see more sales until the evening when people get home from work.

That's my tweet. I took a lot of Kay's tweet. I also added my banner to it if anyone likes it and wants to use it too. I usually do some light promoting a few days before and then I go nuts during the event.

Great Article. A friend also recommended them! I was thinking of putting my latest release on there. We'll see how that goes.
