It's a good thing "virtue is its own reward," because my experiences with Amazon are depressingly similar to yours. Thank you all for sharing. I'm heading back to my word processor and starting another book.

Yes, you did all that good plot stuff...but your dialogue still rocks, your characters still quirk (?) and it's fun to read!
I'm considering the NEA convention in Boston, as my book is set in a school. Do you suppose and education convention is based solely on educational books, or is there space for fiction?

this is sort of like how I did it. I emailed short stories for free and posted them on my website. SSs had same setting, some of the same characters like your fiancé's. The SSs are free; now I'm dropping the novel and it will be interesting to see if the give-away stories turn into sales.

I was registered for the event on time. The problem may be that getting uploaded onto Amazon is/was taking longer than I anticipated. Everything should be set up and working by the time the event kicks off.I just clicked on the link I gave you and it didn't work.
But I just typed the link in my browser and it did so maybe I mis-typed it. What worked for me was
