He usually does it right when I'm wrapped up in something, but otherwise doesn't want anything to do with me.

Thank you Ruth! I'll give that a look. There are sites that do it, but you never know if its just a rip off.

Has anyone looked into this? I was considering having my books translated to German to open the door to new readers (Idea came from family friends from Germany).

I don't speak the language so I would have to trust that it was done correctly. Just wondering if anyone has put any research into this. I just started looking at sites this week. (Please excuse any typos. My cat is laying on my arms and I don't want to disturb him)

This article has some good points, but it puts all of writing into a box. It's like saying ALL adverbs are bad.

Anyways, there's an article about readability through Prowritingaid.com (the program I use to run my edits)
