Oh my gosh! That's amazing! Congratulations to your son!

I had some good stuff happening this week also. One of the main things is, I had to change hosting services. Not only is my new host 80% less expensive, their servers are many times faster, their email works a lot better, and the domain transfer happened within hours when they quoted 5-7 business days. Not only that, but I was able to get all my money back form my old host. I won't have to worry about people bouncing away from my art site when they realize it's slow!

201765 I'm looking forward to it too! I haven't been a member all that long but I love this place.

201765 That's pretty darn cool! By the way, if my article was too boring or same or something, just throw me a line and I'll write something more scintillating. Like maybe a trashy click bait article such as "69 ways writing novels can supercharge your sex life."

Okay, no problem. Self Publishing Made Easy and Gateway Drug. Once I have my latest book out I'll be swapping that for Gateway Drug.

I hear you about the dedicated website. How about Wordpress? They don't charge if you let them post ads, and the ads aren't obnoxious. You can have a site that's as simple or as complicated as you want, with a book blog attached. Let me know if you're interested and I'll pass on a few hints I've learned.

To everybody else: Being a bit new to this thread, I was wondering how I sign up for the next round? I filled out the form and have a blog that's currently getting 400-700 views a month and climbing. I'm also willing to retweet things.

Or, rght click on the image and select "open in new tab." Use that link. I like the rightclick, "Copy Image Location" feature in Firefox. Makes life so much simpler!

When I came home, she kept saying nice things about it. Made me really happy. So I'm happy it happened to you too.

Darn! We buy the parts on NewEgg and Tiger Direct. I'm not sure where they ship to, though.

Yeah, neither am I - 2-D graphics are more my thing. Spouse uses it for Sketch-Up, makes starships and whatnot. Really nice ones, too. She also plays TOR. We just discovered that we can build another computer like she has, which we paid $1200 for a few years ago, for about $500 parts cost. I say woohoo!

Voted for you, and thanks everyone for the review info!

On topic, today my spouse was able to fix her 8-core gaming PC. That means she can go back to doing awesome 3-D renders. I'm especially excited because she's working on one of my projects and I'm happy to see it get going again. (We had to replace the motherboard and the power supply, and it's like bringing a member of the family back from the dead.)

201765 I can't wait to contribute! I'll be digging through my files to find something to polish up and make all pretty, then try submitting it.
