I realised that, but thought it was of note. Maybe they can do something to make them available on PCs for those (like me ) who don't want smart phones - also I really do think it's great sitting around as a family sharing a good story. :D

201765 Update

I just installed Audible Download Manager linked to my I Tunes and settled down to enjoy listening to Carole, but. Audiopub is only available on Smart Phones. Pity.

I followed your link and discovered that the audio books only work on smart phones not computers. Does everyone now have a smart phone? Guess it explains why people keep walking into me in the street!

It seems that one can listen on a PC by downloading Audible Download Manager and linking through I Tunes. Good idea, because listening together is great and there is enough isolation without adding to the problem by reinforcing the "My world is my smart phone" attitude.

201765 It's common in the book retail trade. 60% and accept all unsold in ANY condition. I know people who think bookshops are generous allowing people to sit around reading and dropping food/coffee on books. Well they don't pay for it we do. Incidentally some retail chains want more than 60% and extended payment terms too. In the end it's a question of 1) do I think exposing my books will sell them and 2) what other marketing opportunities exist. As with everything I think one needs a mix and to get that I guess one needs to decide a budget and go from there.

Very interesting and thank you. It seems that joining can only be made via FB or Google. I'm based in the UK, is the platform open internationally or restricted to US addresses - I ask because payments overseas can be problematic for some US entities.

Followed you on twitter. At first I thought your Avatar was a cute sheep with earrings until I looked hard and long. Do I qualify for a place on your planet?
201765 Thanks everyone. I'm following back.
