201765 Ideally, I write M-F from 8a-noon, then do author business stuff in the afternoons. But life is never ideal, so occasionally I skip a day or two to do other things.

I write in relative silence, just household noise, although if it gets loud I close my office door. Occasionally, I'll put on a Skyrim soundtrack or rain sounds that are good white noise.

Occasionally, I'll do a write-in with other writing friends (virtual or IRL) and we'll do sprints, then chat between.

So glad you got good news!

I agree. I saw a bunch of warnings posted in several places, and I bet they were all, "Crap! They're onto us!" *gg*

201765 Looks like they just revised their TOS to address these issues a couple of days ago. Here are the new TOS: https://www.getunderlined.com/create/...

That said, this remains in their official TOS: User Submissions remain the intellectual property of the user and you retain all ownership rights in your User Submissions. In order for PRH to make the User Submissions available on the Site, you agree that, by posting your User Submissions on the Site, you grant to PRH a non-exclusive, limited, revocable, royalty-free, fully paidup worldwide, transferable, right to use, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, distribute, transmit, perform and display such content and your name, voice, and/or likeness as contained in your User Submission, in whole or in part, solely on the Site.

It's the last part "solely on the Site" that's key.
