201765 I have reduced Hard Kill https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R9518HR and Shem's Quest https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HQ4P55D

to $4.99 (eBook)
201765 Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've posted anything, but I do have a new eBook out on Amazon. Hard Kill. I'd appreciate it if you gave it a look. It's what I've been working on (advised by the late David Farland) for the last two years. The audio version has been completed, narrated by Michael Kramer (Wheel of Time, & Brandon Sanderson novels) and is in the queue, number three, to be uploaded before summer.

201765 I have two audiobooks on Audible through ACX. Science Fiction Fantasies, Tales and Origins is a collection of short stories recorded in old time radio drama format with a complete cast of characters and still in production, Cadet Adam which is a traditional dramatic reading. Cadet Adam should be available sometime in October if we pass all the Quality Control protocols. Science Fiction Fantasies is available right now.

201765 Damn! Why didn't I think of that. That means both of my readers would have made me a lot more money. Seriously, I'm glad Amazon is fixing it.

201765 Okay, I'll show my ignorance. What is bookstuffing?

I just uploaded my new collection of short stories, Science Fiction Fantasies, vol 2. We'll see what happens.

The Ninharsug Award for Science is rarely given. Adam has won it. With it he can choose his future. Rebelling against his parents, Adam follows his crib-mate, Evie, into the Fleet Academy. Once there he falls afoul of the Psychic Wing, the menacing new branch of Space Fleet, who has recruited Evie. He is determined to save her.
But first he must save himself. The Psychics plan to usurp the throne of the Ancient of Days, leader of the Most High Federation of Planets, and Adam stands in their way.

201765 Morning is best for me. I wake up (hopefully well-rested) and seem to have greater focus and clarity. My subconscious has done its thing all night long and is ready to spill out after that first cup of coffee.

I find too many distractions in the afternoon and evenings.

201765 Those are pictures from the flyers being distributed? Cool! That's a humanizing touch. Good work, gang. I'll keep an eye on mass distribution.

201765 Reading this reminded me that I hadn't taken my meds today. Five different kinds. Mostly for circulation, cholesterol, bp and then vitamins and supplements (CoQ10) that kind of thing. I will say that after I started the vitamin regimen and got up out of my recliner, the Afib went away (a year now). I don't even check my bp anymore.

Sorry about your mom, Alex. I've been through it. I'm the patriarch of my family now. Both parents and two older sisters have passed and I'm only sixty two.

201765 I've just picked up a copy of Justin Wright's book, A Brother's Will. I haven't started it yet, but I'll post something about it when I'm done. I have to find time to squeeze it in between all my other chores. ;-)

201765 Found it. liked it!
Book Conventions (33 new)
Apr 19, 2017 10:49AM

201765 I got a table at SoonerCon this year. June 23-25. It is in Midwest City, a suburb of Oklahoma City. It will be my first big convention. I had to wait until someone cancelled to get my table.

I was at a small convention in Denton, Texas last week. It boosted my pages read on Amazon by 2000+ pages. I can't wait to see what SoonerCon does. And, oh yes, I sold some books too. :-)

201765 Well, I did it. I had been toying with the idea for awhile, but the Storyteller2017UK competition decided me. I released Cadet Adam on Amazon.

It's ready for that review, Carole. ;-)

In a totally unrelated thought, I picked a copy of Justin Wright's "A Brother's Will" I'll tell you what I think, Justin.
