Cool became horrifically dated and I was ever so careful not to say it - then suddenly realised that teenagers were "cooling" everywhere so what the heck.
Mind you, teenagers have somehow decided to wear those hats with a pom pom and ear flaps and plaited wool string on. Applaud the practicality but I bet it's because they think they're cool.....

Yes, you can definitely change covers without ISBN changes - you can even change titles though it is not a fun exercises when co-ordinating through to Goodreads.

I found the colours on the weasel cover a bit dull and "dated" - unless you are trying to convey old fashioned crime novel and then maybe it is a good idea. Nothing immediately said "crime novel" to me - though maybe the bandit mask on the weasel... mm.
The moon one - at first glance I liked it a lot more but it was possibly a hint of urban fantasy. The figures looked like they might be dancing rather than running, not sure which they are supposed to be doing.

Actually it is ASIN we did that with not ISBN - came back to say that. Not got as far as paperbacks and ISBNs.
