Turtle A by Ellie Martin-McKinsey and Carrying On by Jonita Davis will be launched in collaboration with the Newark Book Festival. About Turtle A -
‘Turtle A’ by Ellie Martin McKinsey, is a philosophical fiction book featuring a female protagonist with no identity and a male protagonist who holds on too tightly to his own. The book contains dry humour, brilliant dancers, comfy diners, and metaphysical questions and their absurd yet sensical answers.
About Carrying On -
Carrying On’ by Jonita Davis is a drama/comedy murder mystery featuring a Black female protagonist just trying to get her life back on track. The book has gut-busting humour, eccentric characters, ridiculously clever side plots, and an old-school Cadillac.
