Thanks, Ted and everybody else! I am so thrilled for him.
Congrats to all the other great books written by so many of our friends.
I'm proud to say we (my family) had eleven wins. The Crew Goes Coconuts took Gold in Children's Adventure.

Other wins include my son's other books, The After House, Pokergeist, Darracia, Witches Protection, the History Major all assorted from silver, bronze, to finalists.

Navigating Indieworld took a bronze and for me Aurora Borealis, Fribbet, If You Were Me and Lived in...The American West and Oh Susannah, also took home honors.

Congrats to all my friends whose work was recognized as well!!

On another note- congrats to our fellow authors who won recognition and awards in Reader's Favorite!!

Thanks, Anna, dear!! Just bought it. Excited to read it this weekend.

It was costly and stupid. They act like it was a no brainer but all my books had to be reformatted. It took months and at times was frustrating. Especially because I hadn’t worked with the artists in so long.

It's all 'rubbish' as my friends over the pond say. It cost me a fortune to convert my books. Brit and Chrissy have been working on it since last March. There have been issues with the illustrated books and KDP/Createspace took no responsibility for anything. I had to reformat most of them. I'm glad I took care of it though- I'd be panicked now if I hadn't. However, there's been a huge drop in sales so I'm not sure how it all was affected.

Maybe they'll just move it over, Alex.

Looking for children's authors in the New York area. My daughter-in-law is putting in suggestions for an author day in our local school. They may not allow me because I'm related to the students. lol
