I keep her in a tower with flying Monkeys from OZ- She's untouchable. lol

It's Brittney, here! Just writing from Carole's GoodReads because we're already logged in on here.
So what I've been finding for errors when we transferred our information from CreateSpace to KDP is:
Some "key words" were missing as well as the "select two categories".
Now, it's something you have to really look out for, as I found that not all of the words and categories were missing... just some. So instead of having the 6 key words set up, you'll only have had 4 transferred... or instead of having two categories set up, it may have only transferred one.
That's for the most part what I have discovered. I guess it must be a glitch when things transfer... nothing's perfect.
Let me know if you need help or have any more questions. And if you discover any other issues and/or solutions, feel free to share them!
Xoxo
Brittney

If not- tomorrow I'll be back in the office and I'll get her too do it.

Brit has been busy updating the book information on KDP and sales have increased overnight.

Some people have approached and want to be included. We were thinking that we'd like to continue this after the book fair and with more people- so we were thinking would anyone like to be involved?
This is how it works- You put your name on the list and everyday we will feature a different writer from the list on all our social media. Your only requirement is to post the showcased author on your media (any kind is good) and wait for your turn.

Most writers I am in contact with end up feeling as an indie it's a supplemental income to their day jobs. We are pulling in enough with all our combined books that it could support someone (one person and barely). We use those funds to try and get notice and catch that 'lightening in a bottle.'
For me it has yielded one paid gig( the publishing job), for my son a small traditional publisher. He actually made more as an indie, but in order to get a film deal, they wanted him traditionally published. We'll see what happens.
On another note, I've gotten several speaking engagements where I received upwards of a thousand dollars per engagement. RL began the magazine and of course there are the blog radio shows. I believe there is a way to make a living with all of these things. I haven't figured it out yet.
