Let's go with Scythe! I'm so intrigued by the summary!

201392 Here are my suggestions. I'll try to finish the book this time.

The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch
Saga Vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan
Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames
Second book (19 new)

201392 That appears to be all of them. Shall we vote?
Second book (19 new)

201392 My suggestions are
Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
and (for something completely different?)
Ancient Magus' Bride by Kore Yamazaki (since this is a manga I was thinking volume 1 only)
Second book (19 new)

That is one of the best skits ever. I also love their football player ones.

201392 Oh my god the whole donut section was so out of nowhere. I get it, you want to give us the back story but frankly I didn't care that much.

I had the same thoughts as everyone else it seems. It was a nice light-hearted read but I don't think I'll read the others in the series. One of the biggest issues I had while reading it was actually my suspension of disbelief for the whole premise. There's only so much stupid Sherlock I can take before I can't quite take anymore.

201392 You have until September 4th at 7:00pm to finish the book.

Since there’s just a handful of us this time we’re going to try out having the discussion here on Goodreads.

I’m glad you’re liking it! I’ve had quite a lot of laugh out loud moments.

201392 Or uh, can we do Warlock Holmes first? I accidentally checked that one out onto my Kindle from the library...my bad.

201392 I have a thought. For the first one, let's go with Six of Crows, then we can do Warlock Holmes the time after that.

We can even decide now if we want to go for a manga or comic or something after that. Like maybe make a list of titles ahead of time and just move down it, letting people join up as they will.

201392 That one sounds super interesting!

My offering is Warlock Holmes: A Study in Brimstone.
