That's one of my BIGGEST problems. When i'm completely finished with my story, i'm gonna add and change A LOT of things, however its too late now to add it, cos then everyone who hav already read it will be lost.
If u do end up changing things though, my advice is to do it sooner rather than later.... otherwise things will get more confusing.

I find it difficult adding in new characters. Like, i'll realize i'm gonna hav a new character and am like crap, i really shud hav introduced them sooner or refereed to them sooner, sort of thing lol

Ahh, isn't that always the worst. U hav something really good coming up, but u hav 2 write the in between bits and the lead up 2 it. I HATE that!!

Just try and add them in here and there. With me, i hav to include things with her family and friends, which sorta go with my plot....
If u can't hav them in the story, hav references to them every once and a while. Like have her think of them or remember something that happened in the spat. that sorta thing....

I KNOW!!! i've been wondering the same thing. I think ur idea is really good Bec, i just want u 2 add more =)
