Keep Notes! Yes! You read it right. But I wonder if you are thinking about the same notes. I recently read in a fantastic article written by business entrepreneurs that why you should keep a note of not your achievements but your goals! In three sections- first annually, second monthly and third daily/weekly.
I wish I had read this article when I was in school or college. We all have new year resolutions but how many of us pen them down and go back to them before the year is over and it is too late to make them happen?
In the beginning of year grab a notebook, a diary whatever you want and then write down the things you want to do that year. You can always write down the months you want to try each one. We writers have to depend on publishers for different submissions so....
Then on the beginning of every month plan the must and the things you want to do and then divide them or arrange them serially, I do. It is better if you do it in computer and maintain a table. Then don't forget to write the results, if you succeeded, or failed. If failed then why! I often miss my goals but mostly because I am doing something better or fallen sick. You will remember it now but two years later you may get angry at yourself for missing that goal without any explanation.
Then comes the weekly or daily part- I maintain it at both levels, and jot down the results quite meticulously. It works in many folds. You can come back and see how much time you have spent on each task and make your future timetable based on that, or you can see which works go smoothly and which not! believe me in one man show (or woman) it is a huge help!
hope these tips will help you like they did help me.

Blurb writing part 2, did a little studying after writing the first piece, the points that popped up again and again are these :
1. Keep them simple!
Don’t forget that blurbs travel across world, you can never tell who will pick up your book. Unless of course you have a target audience in your mind and them mostly write your blurbs in simplest language and keep in mind all age groups and literary skills (of your readers).
2. Blurbs should be short. People usually pick up a book and read the blurb on a go. They are already eying the next book with a catchy cover. So keep it short, as interesting as possible. Do pay attention to the start, because most websites show a few lines of the blurb and rest is shown if only the reader clicks "Read more".
3. Read other writer's blurbs. You will always learn from them.
4. Find out the piece of your book that will captivate your readers and share it in your blurb.
5. Is there a story worth telling in your book? Give a hint!

Writing blurb is a very tough and very essential part of self-publishing. My tips here are for fiction writers. Four tips this time.
Don'ts
Don't give away everything. Have you ever watched those trailers of movies that give away the entire storyline and you no longer feel interested in watching the movie? Same thing applies for blurbs too.
2. Don't give spoilers. No way! The more interest you build about your story the better it will be.
Dos
3. Try to be as compact as possible.
4. Do share the genre and build your blurb around the point you think is most impressive part of your story.

If you want to share a blurb of your book send it to me with its buying links and cover image. You can add more, if you want you can share your bio, or anything else. I will love to share that too.
If you want a book review, that too will be always open for group members or any author. Send me the file in pdf format to sermistabasu@gmail.com I will gladly review it. Do send the book cover, a short bio and blurb too.
I hope whoever wrote that message will be reading it.
love and regards

They give the books free to journalists if they want to review it! You can contact them through the website.
Justfiction-edtion.com liked my stories harmony and red butterfly and published them as a single book: Red Butterfly and Harmony on 26/10/18.
https://www.justfiction-edition.com/c...
https://www.morebooks.shop/store/gb/b...
Two stories in one jacket-one about a very beautiful, perfect world, Harmony a world where your dreams may come true too, if you think outside the box! A journey into a beautiful planet where magical creatures still roam. A wanderer travelling in space finds love and home. The other story is a reminder of how wicked often hide behind mask of innocence. A story of two brave kids and a wicked witch.
