Thanks everyone for the extremely kind comments. After a few years on Goodreads, I finally respotted the location of the Q&A section. It came as a surprise to see so many new comments.

Here's the scoop on the books: The next one is out in March and it's not the last by any means. I left doors open and plan to return and hope to not have a gap of 2 years in between.

Thank you both. What I can say right now is that there won't be another Spellman book in March, 2011. I've been working on other projects. However, I think I will probably do at least one more Spellman book after that.

Thanks so much. I should warn you now that the script is very different from the book. I think it's still the essence of the Spellmans, but it's more of a traditional mystery/adventure than my books are.

We're hoping it will start shooting early next year. The screenwriters are hopefully working on a final polish on the screenplay. Barry Sonnenfeld is attached to direct.
