Hi! My name is Maria Ysern

I have always been interested in writing but only dabbled in creative writing in college. Recently I fell into the wonderful rabbit hole of fantasy and have not looked back. I have always written recreationally, but this is the first manuscript I have completed and want to publish.

I drafted a story with the possibility for a series, but I know it should be able to stand on its own. It is a quest story that attempts at world building. I hope to be able to convey adventure and romance while keeping the story polished.

Orla is living a life of idleness in a secluded village. When a curse threatening to end the fae is unearthed, she must travel through the world of Stellara in hopes of destroying its root.

Lost in a world she never knew outside her village, she stumbles upon a bounty hunter who is her only hope in breaking through the wards of the realms. On her journey through Stellara, she must evade menacing creatures, vagrants, hunters, an infamous dragon, and most dangerous of all...the growing attraction to a human who'd sooner sell her for what she is.

As Orla is thrown into a whirlwind quest to save the fae, she discovers that her knowledge of the four realms is only beginning to unravel.
