Hi everyone! I'm seeking beta readers for my serials of completed novellas. They are part of a larger serial, but as of now, only two of them are ready.

Title: The One With Blue Eyes
Genres: Mystery; Paranormal; Japanese Mythology.
Trigger: there are descriptions of ghosts; no profanities; nothing sexual.
Words: 11k and 15k.
Blurb: Yumiko is a twenty-two-year-old college student who can see those who have departed this life. She struggles with her ability, not sure if she should fear it or accept it. A test on her bravery arrives when a friend finds themselves in a mysterious and spooky situation.
While trying to help her friend, Yumiko stumbles upon a man whose blue eyes can reach the realms of the other side.

- I'm looking for overall feedback. I'd like to know if the plot is intriguing and if it makes you want to read more or if it's boring.
- I'd also like your feedback on whether this works as a serial or it ends up not making sense at all.
