I think roran will go bad because Katrina dies. He'll join galby but then he'll turn on galby and they both die kind of like darth vader in star wars

I don't think the new rider would be an elf because the only one in all 3 is arya and it's to obvious I wouldn't mind Angela or jeod being the new rider I want it to be a surprise

I have two theories on the vault of souls. My first theory is: Oromis tells eragon that when a person dies they enter 'the void'. Maybe when a rider was picked their soul became like an eldunari. and when their dragon died they joined together in the vault of souls. Maybe eragon opens it and all the old riders and their dragons come back eg; brom and saphira 1,oromis and glaedr etc; they all come back and beat galbatorix, free murtagh and re-establish the riders. My other idea is that eragon 1 is in the vault with Bid'daum and they have all the wild dragons eldunari before they merged with the riders. eragon convinces them to help him beat galbatorix and murtagh

Maybe one of the elf kids will be the new rider or the girl will be eragons future wife since there is no age barrier arya's to obvious to be the next rider and they must have been mentioned for a reason. I also think the blind man who sees energy might be involved as there was no need for him to be mentioned in the third book either

Hey everyone these are my theories. I think katrina will die and because rorans ultimate bond will be broken he will become the new rider or he will die. if he dies jeod or Angela will be the new rider. Shruikan will pick nasuada as it's new rider and the menoa tree will either make eragon leave alagaesia or make him kill saphira as he swore to give her whatever she wanted for his sword.

The rider could also be old. The only reason they were young was because every person got to touch the egg no one has touched in a hundred years it could be jeod or Horst etc;

i've re-read the books and paolini said the new rider was in all 3 if its a kid the only ones i've found are elva and Jarsha (jormundor's son) maybe one of them will be the next rider

could jormunder be the new rider he's real important to the varden but is never mentioned

maybe the rock of kuthian is the eldunari of the leader of the dragons when they joined with elves glaedr said his name couldn't be pronounced so maybe everyone's forgotten his name. Since it's a rock why not ask the dwarves the worship them

If eragon says says galby's true name he will die. as that's what arya told him and saying eragon in the ancient language doesn't do anything as oromis taught him by speaking ancient language the rock could be brom's ring and with the memories brom left saphira eragon he might be able to discover brom's true name and get all the power in the ring and use it to defeat galby and free murtagh
