harpoon ,there is a prophecy in the 1st book itself .eragon sees a vision of 2 dragons 1 blue n the other green with a male n a female rider on them leaving .there is a ship full of people n there is a guy standing on the shore . its said that the guy on the shore is roran n eragon n aarya are the two riders . i think the last egg ,the green one will hatch for aarya or something like that n both the dragons leave alegesia forever.angela predicted it n even an elf sings a song along the same lines in eldest n in brisingr one razac n a soldier curse him with the same fate . so eragon n saphira wil leave forever.

as u know selena (eragon's mother) was on a mission just before her death which no one knew what it was .maybe she found out the rock of kuthian n also the true name n she could open the vault of souls . but sonce brom was away fighting she couldnt tel him n before he returned she died .the theory is that maybe the ancient language's true name is the same as eragon's true name n maybe tha is why selena was compelled to name her son eragon so that when he found out about the rock of kuthian he could releasing whatever is in the vault of souls .also in eldest islanzadi said that eragon is a name so powerful that they barely name anyone so .eragon might be the ancient language's true name which when spoken in front of rock kuthian would open the vault of souls

its said that both eragon n another rider will leave alegeshia with their dragons in book 4's end n eragon will have an epic romance which may or may not end n also there is a new rider introduced in book 4 whose dragon would be green .its a possibility that this dragon is the last egg in galby's treasury which may break when it comes into contact with someone whom it decides to make its rider

in brisingr book the one of the ra'zac says to eragon that galby has almost found out the true name so maybe galby found out about rock of kuthian n he is trying to figure out either eragon's or the ancient language's true name so that he can acquire even more eldunari .even oromis says that galby is now doing some mysterious project now a days unknown to anyone n it might be searching for the true name

also In Eragon, Eragon stated that the island Vroengard looked liked a "knobby hand", which could mean that the vault could be where the gedwey ignasia is supposed to be on that hand.

a possibility is that the Rock of Kuthian is actually Aren, Eragon's ring. Brom could have found the Rock of Kuthian and sealed away most of its power with his true name. Since Eragon and Brom are so much alike, they may have the same true name and Eragon would be able to access the Vault of Souls through Aren. It would also explain why there was so much energy put into Aren. Eragon could use it to get more power when he is feeling weak.

what's with eragon leaving ? hey maybe eragon n saphira n galby n even murtagh will leave alegesia forever or maybe they all die in the battle n there will be no more dragons or riders in the future n the humans ,elves n dwarves will live on in harmony

hi brittany that is what i said that maybe galby's true name is the rock of kuthian translated into the ancient language n when eragon speaks galby's true name galby will have to obey eragon just like sloan had to in brisingr n then maybe eragon wil release the eldunari or heart of hearts or vault of souls in other words n he can defeat galby .

i think rock of kuthian when translated into the ancient language will be galby's true name and since he has a large no. of eldunari it means that he has a vault of hearts or in other words a vault of souls. so maybe when eragon goes to galby finally he should speak his true name and the whole lot of eldunari would leave galby n come off to eragon's posession n eragon would be able to defeat galbatorix
