But that didn't turned out to be true, so now judgment day has been rescheduled. Sorry everyone for the inconvenience.
Didn't even watch it. The trailer looked awful. I didn't want to taint my happy memories and mental imagery of the book.
On the subject of 2012 maybe something dramatic and sun-related, solar, will happen, but I don't think it'll cause an apocalypse. People have been predicting the end of the world for years, moving the date up and up and we're still here.
That's a really good point, but I wish they had used a different way of showing how vulnerable the characters are.
After Snape killed Dumbledore Bellatrix just destroyed the Great Hall, and all the Death-eaters ran off with Harry chasing them. I really missed the battle from the book as well, it just felt kind of flat, but at least it wasn't dumb like the fire scene they added at the Weasley's.
I think there's a lot of factors, and certainly some of it can just be natural, but I think we have a role too, and not just with Co2 emissions. Things like irrigation in a certain area can change humidity, so imagine the impact of everything we're doing across the planet.
I don't know if this has been brought up yet but global warming really should just be called climate change, there isn't just a mass warming of the earth, the climate is changing in different ways everywhere. In some places it is a global cooling.

It'd be kind of nice to live near a theme park, but
I'm not really envious.
tpbm watched the world cup game between Italy and France
Katherine: HBP??what does that stand for?
half-blood Prince.
I didn't think Lavender was anymore psycho than she was in the book...
