and when you add up all the little things people think they "need" then it piles into mountains of debt.

I agree, we need to give up some things to get out of debt. If we want to lower taxes we cant expect to have everything we do now. we will have to give up on something.

I think that it is all natural and we are only speeding it up and slightly changing it. The world naturally goes from being hot to cold, and that if the world is getting warmer it is signifying that another cooler period (prob not as significant as the ice age) is coming.

John, just so you know, people did that because, as said earlier, we are made to worship and they thought it was part of their religion.
If you, a scientist of some sort prob, found some extraordinary piece of the evolutionary puzzle that was missing you would almost worship it too, being obsessive over it etc. But, in the future it will be probably be disproven (as so many theories and such before) it will look to those from the future the exact same as you look upon those from the past who worshiped the bones of supposed saints.
