Hi I'm Savannah from USA California! I'm on the last book of the series right now and so far my favorite has been the second book.

Stereotypical characters are usually made to be relatable. We all know of the wise old man or the young foolish kid who grows up into a mature strong man. Those are the kinds of people we know of in books and in real life. Shakespeare emphasized his stereotypes to portray his characters, so they're understandable for a wide range audience. Because of this many books seem similar and characters are often parallels. And in sci fi the plot is always going to be somewhat the same: a protagonist starts of living a normal life until his world changes and he goes on a great journey to find his destiny. With villains, and secrets revealed, it all leads to somewhat similar ideas but in books. I think you could go on to say the super heroes are similar stories as well and even more recent dystopia books.
