1899 hmm... interesting. i have become increasingly disenchanted with the cliched themes of eragon, but it is a good story. i still think that it would be best if eragon dies though... or arya, or orik. maybe roran...

1899 i'm sorry, what exactly are we debating?

1899 i've read some really awesome books, lol. i'll try to get a hold of it.

1899 no, that ending just isn't satisfying. it's far too perfect. i'm sorry, but the ending usually just isn't good unless a protagonist dies.

1899 i think i will.

1899 i've heard of it, but i also haven't read it :/

1899 oh yes. hmm... perhaps. i thought he meant that comment in reference to interrogation, but it may well have been foreshadowing.

1899 wow, i don't remember that, but it would be epic, and a great story device. when did durza say that?

i hadn't considered that, really. but that would be a great moment.

1899 i'm thinking that he'll die by the sword, from either eragon or murtagh. maybe roran, but i doubt it. they're the major characters either in the position to (eragon or murtagh) or who seems important enough to paolini to warrant the right to kill galby.

maybe there would be a way for eragon to use the eldunari to release, rather than kill, shruikan. shruikan hates galby too, and only serves because he has to.

1899 thor, the norse god? they were all aged, because they relied on apples of youth for immortality, and when they were denied them (by either a giant, or loki) they aged, until one of the aesir gods retrieved them. i probably forgot a lot of that.

1899 lol, i live in new york, and it's indeed a land of extremes... in the summer it goes in to the high 90s, and it goes down to the negatives, occasionally. lovely weather.
