Hi Britt. You have added Almeta's cumulative points in our November average, so that's why our number looks so good. Her current November score is 35 (See msg #261). Also, we are at 9 participants (not 8). Our November average isn't quite as high, but still an awesome number!

I first read this book in high school, about 50+ years ago. It obviously meant nothing to me then, because I didn't remember one word of it. Surely this story can't be fully understood by a 15-year old. It takes some living to truly comprehend the horror and the character's complexities. I'm really glad to have read it again. A dark, gothic, unromantic, psychologic thriller - just my cup of tea.

Erin, please re-check your calculation. Nachiket's points are correct. He has just 4 "easy read" books (under 50 pages).
