Welcome, all! Hope y'all can join us for some great group reads!!Advice to newcomers as well... most of the classics we read are free on kindle, epub, and other e-reader formats. You don't need to wait for books in the mail!
This book is just pure adventure. One crazy fantasy thing to the next. Loved the journey... though as an adult I can't believe I whipped through it as fast as I did when I was a kid. Definitely took me longer to get through this time.
Editing original post as well, another VERY interesting collection of world stats on COVID-19 progress with worldwide news consolidated on one site:WorldoMeter Coronavirus Stats

We wanted to encourage this wonderful community we have built to keep in touch and support each other throughout (especially if you are under quarantine and have only your books and Goodreads to keep you company).
We encourage you to check in with your local government and medical professionals. In the meantime, some resources that you may find helpful:

wondering how hard it would be to actually do it world cup style...like put two teams head-to-head each week or something and if you win, you move to the next week and play the winner of another match or something like that...
Or round robin style...
any other ideas?
