The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson . Such an amazing book. A man has a terrible accident and this strange woman visits him in the hospital claiming that they are lovers in their past lives.

I would also recommend We, the Drowned by Carsten Jensen. This book spans centuries in a small fishing/whaling village in Denmark.


These books are probably some of my favorite books of all time!
