"Stop saying what you didn't do. You saved me by getting me out of there. That's what matters." A nurse helped Mordecai into a wheelchair. They had to put a brace around his torso so he could sit up straight, as everything below his ribs was paralyzed.

"I'll be okay. We saved people, it was worth it."

"And you. You did most of the work." Mordecai tried to sit up. He could only really lift his head.

Kit followed her in, and stood by the door.

Mordecai opened his eyes and Smiled. "It's not your fault." The lower half of his body, and part of his arms, were wrapped up to protect the burns. "Is the village okay?" Mordecai held her hand.

A healer came out to see them. "We healed most of the burns, but the fall caused other injuries. There is a good chance that Mordecai will not be able to walk. You can go in and see him soon."

((Just FYI I'm having an end of school party so won't be on much/at all tonight))

Kit took a nap. He was exhausted and somewhat disturbed, as he always was when he did something like that with his powers.

"Go get one, I'll stay here."

Kit sat next to her. "We're in a hospital. If there's something wrong it's the right time to say so."

A healer took him into another room. Kit lifted the spell to make sure it didn't mess with the healing.

kit opened the gate. They rushed Mordecai into the medical ward.

they were almost to the kingdom.

"okay. If you say so."

Kit kept walking. "you have to tell me if you're not okay."

Kit lifted the other end and began to carry mordecai through the forest.

"Ill do it." You watch him. Kit patted her on the shoulder and ran off. He came back a few minutes later with a blanket. "well they thanked us for saving them, at least." Kit slid the blanket under Mordecai. "ready to lift?"

"First off, are you okay? Secondly, we can just ask a villager for a blanket."

"Im not a healer, but i can make the pain go away." Kit put Mordecai into a vision of peace. "We need to get him back as soon as possible."

Kit made the illusion even stronger. The flame Magican collapsed, blood spewing from her eyes, ears, and mouth. She was dead. Kit turned away, slightly shaky, and ran back to Mordecai and Belle.

Mordecai faded in and out of consciousness. Pain scorched through his body.

Kit saw them fall out of the window, this couldn't be good. He cast a spell and the flame magician fell to the ground, screaming. She was currently seeing the most frightening images she had ever seen. Kit saw them too, but he was used to this stuff.

Mordecai hit the ground hard, flat on his back. his clothes were still smoldering up to his chest.

Kit saw the fire inside as she ran out a door. Kit ran after the other Magician.
